Project description:
In the interplay between science and practice, empirical findings are gained in the project in order to improve the applicability of theoretical concepts and methods of peace mediation in political practice. This will further sharpen the Federal Foreign Office's skills in the field of peace mediation and promote the customised use of in-house resources. One focus of the project is on the development of methods and formats that support mediators in difficult decision-making processes to deal constructively with the normative limits of their work and the resulting dilemma situations.
The sub-project was successfully acquired as part of the Seed Money funding programme of the research group "Tough Choices: Dilemmas and Decision in Peacemaking"
